Everything was excellent. Our server Fatou was very nice and helpful. I had the beef noodle soup it was cooked to perfection. I also had the soup dumplings and they were delicious as well as the bbq pork buns, everything was so good. The brown sugar boba is some of the best I’ve had and it even comes with a takeaway cup. Definitely will be coming back!!
I had an amazing experience at Ugly Dumpling! From the moment I walked in, the restaurant was spotless and had such a light, welcoming atmosphere that put me at ease. A huge shoutout to our server Erica. She truly went above and beyond. She served with such a warm smile, was incredibly kind, and had great knowledge of the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on and made the entire dining experience even better. The food was delicious & the service elevated everything. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Asian cuisine and exceptional service!
After seeing this all over tt, I wanted to try it. BF ordered the beef soup and rated it an 8/10. His only complaint was that it wasn't super hot ( temperature). I ordered the shrimp and broccoli. The waiter, who was really nice, accidentally put it in wrong but realized it as he was bringing it to me. So I waited about 10 minutes longer to get my food. The shrimp and broccoli was pretty good. The flavor was very garlicky, which I love. The broccoli was a little firm for my liking. My biggest complaints were the white rice was kind of hard, the food temperature wasn't hot enough, and there wasn't much sauce. But it was still a decent meal. I'd definitely go back, but would order something else. I don't eat meat but there were shrimp options as well as some vegetarian and vegan choices. I'm giving 4 stars bc the server was nice a knowledgeable, the restaurant was cute, bf liked his and I would go back. If I do, I'll update.
